The Super Family plan is paid by a manager and supports separate profiles. Do not copy Spotify or YouTube household restrictions onto Duolingo: its published family guidance also welcomes friends.

How to read this table

“Public listing” means the service appears in a seller’s public catalog or published product information; stock and checkout eligibility are untested. “Recheck listing” comes from our existing catalog records and needs fresh confirmation. “Not confirmed” means we have no verified current offer, not that the platform can never carry it.

Compare a quote only after matching the tier, account access, country, term and fees. Partner codes are on the platform guides.

The practical details

What matters for Duolingo

A learning routine comes before an upgrade

Work out which friction the paid plan will remove from your current routine. More features do not automatically make a short daily habit more consistent. Try your target course before paying for a longer term.

A group can be friends, not just one household

Duolingo’s published Super Family guidance allows friends and separate accounts. Compare the annual group total divided by the number of real participants; an empty seat does not save anyone money.

Keep your streak attached to your own login

Ask for an invitation to your existing account if that is the product you want. A supplied replacement login is a different purchase and will not automatically carry your learning history.

Questions worth asking

Must all six members live at one address?

Duolingo’s published Super Family description allows friends as well as family. Check its current terms rather than applying another service’s household rule.

Is Max available for every course and device?

Check availability for your language pair, location and app before paying specifically for a Max feature.
