Canva: plans, prices & platform comparison

Compare Canva around your design workflow and who controls the workspace. An invitation into a team is not automatically a personal Canva Pro subscription.

How to read this table

“Public listing” means the service appears in a seller’s public catalog or published product information; stock and checkout eligibility are untested. “Recheck listing” comes from our existing catalog records and needs fresh confirmation. “Not confirmed” means we have no verified current offer, not that the platform can never carry it.

Compare a quote only after matching the tier, account access, country, term and fees. Partner codes are on the platform guides.

The practical details

What matters for Canva

For a solo creator

If you mainly make thumbnails, social posts and presentations, compare the free features you already use with the paid assets or tools you repeatedly need. Paying for a team seat may add management questions that a personal plan would not have.

For a small business

Brand assets, shared templates and ownership of client work matter. Establish which workspace owns each design and whether you can keep editing after a team invitation is revoked.

Make an exit plan for your designs

Keep copies of important work in an appropriate location you control and check export needs before relying on an externally administered workspace. Downloaded files and editable source designs serve different purposes.

Questions worth asking

Does a team invitation make me the subscription owner?

No. Membership and billing ownership are different. Ask who can remove the seat and control the workspace.

Are all AI features included without limits?

Do not assume that. Check plan allowances and any optional AI add-on at the current Canva checkout.
