Ask for the exact app, plan, included model access and usage limits. Product names or labels used by a reseller do not establish a service provider’s endorsement.
Understand who can see your work
Ask who controls the login, recovery options, conversation history and settings. Avoid putting confidential work, personal records or client data into an account whose access controls you do not understand.
Distinguish shared logins from authorized seats
A shared login, a dedicated account and an authorized workspace seat are different arrangements. Check the underlying service’s terms and whether your intended use is permitted.
Think about continuity
Consider what happens to saved work if access is revoked, limits are exhausted or credentials change. For business-critical work, compare the direct plan and its account-control options.
